Training and Development Unit

Welcome to the City of York Learning Culture and Children’s Services Training and Development Unit. Our aim is to ensure the delivery of a high quality, continuous, systematic and focused strategy for professional development at all levels. We offer/broker/commission a wide range of accredited and non-accredited programmes for any one working in Children’s Services in a structured and fully supported learning environment from recruitment and induction through to senior leadership and beyond, based on national standards and codes of practice.
